Emmanuel Lutheran Church is a sponsoring congregation for Martha and Mary ministries. Martha and Mary provides these services to God’s precious people:
Nursing Home (including Memory Care Unit)
Rehab Center
At-Home Care
Child Care
Independent Living for Seniors
and, beginning in October of this year, Low Income Housing for Seniors
Called Village Green, this low income housing for seniors will provide 34 units in Kingston, WA, with one and two bedroom units overlooking Puget Sound.
Martha and Mary extends the caring ministry of Christ to those who are in need. We are proud to support Martha and Mary with our prayers, our (meager) financial support, and our services.
July 21: Betty Herman of Martha and Mary will be at Emmanuel to share about the ministries of Martha and Mary.
July 28: Emmanuel will lead the afternoon (3pm) service at Martha and Mary. You are invited to attend and help.
Emmanuel is also a supporting congregation for Lutherhaven, which is a camping ministry on Wildcat Lake, affording services for churches, families and youth. Mr Larry Ficca is the president of their board. Glen Adrig and Molly Erickson serve on the board.
August 18: Emmanuel will have its annual picnic at Lutherhaven. Come and enjoy the sun, the water, the fellowship and the food. Please bring your own eating service and a potluck dish to share.
